Surprisingly our hunters are also trying their hand at fishing as a break from hunting and catches have been good. Last week one guest took 7 trout and 4 red fin. April and May are always the best fishing in my opinion.

I've neglected my duties to keep you all informed. My apologies.
Over the last ten days our hunters have taken 5 goats, three pigs and a young buck yesterday . 
The rut has not fully begun yet although I hear it is underway near Inverell.
There are lots of mobs of pigs ( unfortunately for us-good for hunters) and small mobs of goats in almost all areas.
We had 100ml over a few days so it is wet again and the countryside is looking magnificent.
We had a couple of cool nights on Sunday and Monday (8 dergrees) but the days are just perfect autumn weather.
Possibly our first frost will be next Monday according to the BOM.
